To INCIDIAH’s members, friends and sympathizers

Dear colleagues and friends of IMCIDIAH (Initiative Citoyenne De La Diaspora Haïtienne),
We find ourselves bound to explain that our organization is not associated with the HDPAC Louisiana Summit carrying the objective of assembling political leaders and their projected agreements for the purpose of merging them.
In a joint meeting last month, we made it clear to the initiators that the diaspora community is not ready for this level of involvement in such a short period of time while suffering from a lack of structure and convincing leadership to be dealing with the local elite.
Wishing them well despite numerous considerations, we will not stand in the way of our colleagues with their plan. We only hope that no lack of structure or wisdom impacts ongoing efforts toward better community partnership.
This note is not a press release. We are handing it out as an explanatory position to our friends and colleagues, especially those who have been calling us about the Louisiana Summit.
Once again, Happy New Year to you all. We are looking forward to resuming our bi-weekly meeting on Saturday January 22, 2022
